1. How old were you when you first started riding?
4 1/2 when I had my first lesson, had been on a horse prior to that though.
2. First horse ridden:
Goodness knows. My first lesson horse's name started with an S... can't remember it now

Umm... who was it? It's been a while.. I think the last horse that turfed me was a greenie named Cowboy.. my trainer asked me to canter him for the first time under saddle, and I agreed.. he didn't.

The first horse I leased, Mystic.. It ended very badly. (Let's just say my mom swore off my riding from then on.)

I've found a new love with Maia now. I was just out at the barn giving her some love and grooming her, when I decide "well why not just jump on?" Suuure! Sounds like a great idea!
She was so much better than I thought she'd be! She kept her head nice and low, and I worked her bareback with a western headstall - she was great! I've started to work on neckreining with her (just cause!) and getting a nice slow jog - wow can you ever feel the power in her hind end!
*sigh* I don't know what I'd do without my horse...
